This is the rewritten distribution assembly, guys. I would appreciate if you could take a look, especially with regard to artifact signing (I don't use gpg agent). I placed the instructions in help/publishing.txt - some of the instructions @hossman wrote are no longer valid since I made the gpg agent an option (I typically use the plain-java route). The distribution is at lucene/distribution/build/distribution once you build it. It's exactly the same structure as before (which is a thing I will open a question on the mailing list). A side-effect of changing task names locations is that python scripts will need updating, @janhoy . I'm not sure which route to take here - the signing bit is questionable - some RMs may prefer gpg while others may go for the defaults written in gradle.properties (or on command-line).
