   Whoa, WHAT?  Yikes -- looks painful @uschindler!!  Did you ... somehow break 
that little bone fragment off?  Playing tennis!!??  Typing too much to genai?  
Maybe doing your [long-running plank 
exercises/positions](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plank_(exercise)) while 
waiting for Lucene tests to finish?

   `dmesg` looks pretty clean, except, there have been RAM bit flips!!  But it 
is ECC RAM and the bit flip always get corrected.  And this has been happening 
for years ... in fact it may be congenital!  I'll attach it in case there's 
something weird looking that anyone can spot.  I don't understand most of what 
kernels chatter about on boot these days...
