Defining {{PERL_NO_GET_CONTEXT}} before including the Perl headers should
improve performance. See the [perlguts man
page|http://perldoc.perl.org/perlguts.html#How-do-I-use-all-this-in-extensions?].
This involves adding {{pTHX_}} to functions that call the Perl API and
{{aTHX_}} when invoking these functions.
