I am planning to implement the following changes for trapping the non-STRICT
functions.
- Move the masking to the FROM clause (CASE WHEN ...)
- Apply the aggregate with FILTER at the SELECT clause
This is required as the output of masking needs a temporary name to be used in
the FILTER clause. If the FILTER gives an error we can catch it and give the
appropriate message to the user.
Please let me know if you have any comments.
