Hi,

As well as annoying you all with an Email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], I decided to
attach
my Logo proposals as a PDF on this issue. I focus mainly one one design which
uses 3 Vector birds flying off in different directions "into the Open-Office" so
to speak. I thought OOo might want to move to a more detailed logo to show they
were developing and becoming more comprehensive. There are other proposals
included as well, but I spent lots of time showing the different arrangements,
colours and wording.

As mentioned above, the logo proposals are in vectors so they are scalable. And
the colours I've used to demonstrate are only that, demonstration colours. I can
replace them with whatever colours you request. (If you DO request, that is)

One way or the other, whether you like my proposals or not, I just wanted to
strongly urge the use of 3 birds in the logo. I don't think this will damage the
image at all. In fact I would say it creates consistency and professionalism
because the use of 3 birds would better complement the use of 3 'O's in OOo. It
will look more consistent and purposeful. I would say having 2 birds and 3 'O's
is hurting the image much more, it looks accidental.

I'm sorry, I know these are very strong opinions for a new member to voice, but
I feel strongly that 3 birds and 3 colours will create a stronger brand and more
recognisable similarities with the "OOo" acronym.

PS. please check out the site I made to house my OOo graphic contributions
because it relies on hits to remain live and free. Thanks heaps.
