of another property.

Key: MSUREFIRE-111
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MSUREFIRE-111
Project: Maven 2.x Surefire Plugin
Type: Bug
Versions: 2.1.3
Environment: Maven 2.0.4/Linux
Reporter: Randy Watler
Priority: Minor
The "test.empty" system property ends up with the value "defined.value".
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.1.3</version>
<configuration>
<property>
<name>test.defined</name>
<value>defined.value</value>
</property>
<property>
<name>test.empty</name>
<value></value>
</property>
</configuration>
</plugin>
[DEBUG] (f) systemProperties = {test.defined=defined.value,
test.empty=defined.value}
Here is the workaround, (test.empty ends up with value ""):
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.1.3</version>
<configuration>
<property>
<name>test.empty</name>
<value></value>
</property>
<property>
<name>test.defined</name>
<value>defined.value</value>
</property>
</configuration>
</plugin>
[DEBUG] (f) systemProperties = {test.defined=defined.value, test.empty=}
