I consider this change rather problematic because the grid model relies on 12
columns. If you change the value of {{span9}} you mess up with the entire rest
of the grid model. It is not proportional to the rest anymore. See
[here](http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/scaffolding.html#fluidGridSystem).
It looks way better having a {{span2}} for the nav and {{span10}} for the
content. Just tried it with Firefox' Web Dev Tools. Please try it out.
