Karl Heinz Marbaise commented on MNGSITE-242:
---------------------------------------------
Are we talking about a module of a multi module build ? Apart from that i would
be interested where you have found the information about naming the modules is
not allowed...I have tested that
https://github.com/khmarbaise/javaee/tree/module-rcs on this branch i have
named a module {{RCS}} which works simply...May be you can give more detailed
informations and what exactly not work ...and it would be helpful having a log
file...
> not able to compile a module named as "RCS" and "SCCS"

> I am using Maven as build tool for building our banking application. There is
> one module which named as "RCS" which is not getting compiled because of one
> strange restriction forced by maven. All other modules are getting complied.
> When i searched the reason on google, i found that maven does not allow users
> to name module/package RCS/GIT/SVN/SCCS.
> My RCS name is a financial term and its not possible to change the module
> name as it has multiple dependencies.
> How we can remove this restriction or what is the possible solution. Please
> help me in this.
