As someone absolutely brand new to Maven, I couldn't figure out from the web
site how to get Maven to know what project I want to build (I work in Windows,
but I imagine Linux users might have a similar issue). Fortunately, I googled
and found an online tutorial and it mentioned to open a cmd window and navigate
to the directory containing the POM file for the project, then execute the mvn
command.
