Please upgrade the slf4j version that ships in the Maven libs directory.
SLF4J 1.7.22 added support for OFF level in SimpleLogger which is a pretty big
deal if you want to suppress any logging for a particular logger. slf4j 1.7.25
is the latest stable version as of this writing, and it is backwards-compatible
with 1.7.5 which currently ships with Maven.
As a side-note, you'll need to update
https://maven.apache.org/maven-logging.html to mention the OFF logging level.
