With Maven 3.5.2 mvn validate returns error.

[FATAL] Non-resolvable parent POM for com.example:child-1:[unknown-version]:
Could not find artifact com.example:root:pom:1.1-SNAPSHOT and
'parent.relativePath' points at wrong local POM @ line 4, column 11
