petukhov opened a new pull request #3: Fixed the example code in usage.apt.vm URL: https://github.com/apache/maven-checkstyle-plugin/pull/3 Had the original code copied to my project and it was resulting in an error. After putting the configuration tag directly under the plugin tag everything worked.
