Maven only uses a Maven repository (it's actually a maven2 structured repo,
which is also being used by Maven3). If you want to connect to other structures
repositories, you need to use a [repository
manager|https://maven.apache.org/repository-management.html]. AFAIK only
Artifactory supports Ivy.
