Maybe that's a misunderstanding, I think I already did that renaming (I think 
you're talking about Java modules). Here's what I do:

Java modules:

module fr.cla.wires.core {
    requires transitive fr.cla.wires.support;
    exports fr.cla.wires.core;
    exports fr.cla.wires.core.boxes;
}{code}
Maven modules:
{code:java}
<groupId>fr.cla</groupId>

OK, so forget about adding that warning. But what do you think of the warning I 
get _now _in my {{REPRODUCE_JAVAC_EXPORTS_WARNING}} branch?

Note how it says {{in module is not}} with 2 spaces, so it's referring to the 
unnamed module. My interpretation is that:

# {{cla.wires.support.oo.ddd.AbstractValueObjectTest}} ends up in the unnamed 
module because it's patch-module'd from the {{src/test}} of module 
{{fr.cla.wires.support}} into module {{fr.cla.wires.core}}
# The unnamed module is readable only from automatic modules
# {{MavenVsJavaModulesReproduceTest}} is in module {{fr.cla.wires.core}}, so 
not in an automatic module
# From 1, 2, and 3, it follows that package {{cla.wires.support.oo.ddd}} of 
module {{fr.cla.wires.support}} will only be visible from module 
{{fr.cla.wires.core}} (and thus from {{MavenVsJavaModulesReproduceTest}}) if 
there is an export clause. In other words, I would need to uncomment the last 
line here:

*But the problem is that I can't, because the module declaration is in

 So is it not maven-compiler-plugin who should be adding the --add-exports flag?
 I can see that it doesn't: i see {{\--add-reads}} in the {{mvn -X clean 
install}} log, but no {{\--add-exports}}
