Perhaps you wanted to fix `SUREFIRE-1520` as well. I only meant to run a test. So I should investigate `SUREFIRE-1520` because the fix should look different, i.e. not to extend CP of provider but the in-plugin provider. That's a bit different. If you like, pls see or review https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/tree/SUREFIRE-1534, and I would push it and close this issue in Jira as fixed. The fix will be released in the nearest version and I will continue with a separate fix for `SUREFIRE-1520`. Thank you for your time and great work!
