The "Maven - Guide to EARs" [1] describes creation of an EAR project using a
non-existent "maven-archetype-ear" and further describes the output of the ear
archetype creation as a WAR. It appears that the "Guide to EARs" is nearly an
exact copy of the "Guide to Webapps" [2].
