I, personally, have not encountered this issue since my posts - geez - 3 years
ago. I have used all subsequent maven releases (currently using 3.6.3) and this
issue has not resurfaced. I've also gotten a new computer and wiped my .m2 repo
many times since my last post. Whatever the issue was, I'm not seeing it
anymore.
