Perhaps, there could be a pragmatic solution to this: Instead of directly
using the dependency-reduced pom directly, there
could be an option to use a user-supplied pom instead. Then the user could
copy the generated pom, edit it (adding licence info etc) and then in a second
run, that pom could be used in the jar?
