Derek Byrnes commented on ARCHETYPE-40:
---------------------------------------
Duplication still seems to be there and I only tried to create a portlet
project today, Mar 19, 2007. It would seem that the projects pom is one of only
a few in the jar without duplication in it. I have attached a copy of the fixed
jar if anyone cares to upload it into Central

> The maven portlet archetype (maven-archetype-portlet under
> maven-archetype-bundles) in source control contains duplicate code in all
> files except the root pom.xml. The code for a file appears to be copied into
> the file multiple times in every source file in each directory, rendering the
> archetype to be unusable.
> The fix is pretty evident when one looks at the source code.
