Ah, no.
The PR templates says:
* [] You have run the [Core
IT|https://maven.apache.org/core-its/core-it-suite/] successfully.
And that links to a page that says nothing about what repo to use nor the
README.
And the contributors guide has
https://maven.apache.org/guides/development/guide-maven-development.html#Creating_and_submitting_a_patch
which doesn't mention them.
