[~kloessst]: {{--short-names}} is already the default behavior when the PMD
report for the maven site is created by maven-pmd-plugin. I'll remove this from
this JIRA task. If you still need this somehow, please create a new issue which
describes your use case.
With 3.17.0 I'm going to add rendering suppressed violations by default and add
an option to disable it.
