[~cstamas] many thanks for the detailed analysis, even though I don't fully
understand all details, what I'm wondering is, do you think we should use the
reproducer (even though it has issues?) or do you think we can add a unit-test
(where?) for this and drop the reproducer? Maybe you can help her so we get the
fix in ASAP?
