Continuum web application is slower than before

The Continuum web application is dramatically slower than the released 1.0.3
version. However, I have identified a single process which is really slow, most
other actions are "a bit" slower than 1.0.3.
In my case, there is an m2 multi-module project of which contains a total of 34
modules. From the frontpage (i.e. (..)/continuum/groupSummary.action), if I
choose my project group from the list of groups, it takes approximately 17
seconds to display the list of modules for that group. This is easy to
reproduce as it always takes the same amount of time. For my installation, I
haven't modified anything from the standard configuration settings.
