Clifton Craig commented on ARCHETYPE-40:
----------------------------------------

Where was it applied? Where can I find the fixed version? I just tried running
the portlet archetype again this morning and I got the same error. I looked on
the repo at:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/archetypes/maven-archetype-portlet/
and none of the files there have been updated since last year. Am I pointing
to the wrong repo or doing something else wrong?

> The maven portlet archetype (maven-archetype-portlet under
> maven-archetype-bundles) in source control contains duplicate code in all
> files except the root pom.xml. The code for a file appears to be copied into
> the file multiple times in every source file in each directory, rendering the
> archetype to be unusable.
> The fix is pretty evident when one looks at the source code.
