This is perceived as regression because Wagon observed the properties outlined
in
https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/java/net/doc-files/net-properties.html.
I don’t think that considering those as well with native HTTP (with
https://javadoc.io/static/org.apache.httpcomponents/httpclient/4.5.14/org/apache/http/impl/client/HttpClientBuilder.html#useSystemProperties())
does any harm.
