George Petrov commented on SUREFIRE-339:
----------------------------------------
I gigured out what my problem was - I had forgotten to put any <includes>
in my pom for the surefire plugin. Once I did that it stopped failing. Still,
it would be nice if it gave me a bit more info on the nature of the failure.
> Surefire plugin error message does not indicate the source of the error.

> I have been getting test failures. But maven provides no hints as to the root
> cause of the failures. I have tried using the -X and the -e options, but all
> I get is this. I don't konw if this is a maven issue or a surefire plugin
> issue. But, the exceptions should have enough data on what tests failed. This
> has made it impossible for us to track down the issue. This doesn't happend
> on developer machines. It only happens on teh build machine that we are
> trying to setup.
> The command we ran was:
> mvn -e clean test
> [ERROR] BUILD FAILURE
