You have to create an Installation with Environment Variable Name set to
MAVEN_OPTS and the value in the field "Value".
I have tested with the path CONTINUUM-1365.
Adding an env var as this with the value "-Xmx2deded" the build failed with an
exit code 1 (on windows).
And the mail notification says :
