I’m a researcher interested in a feature that allows running tests in a defined order in Maven Surefire, as discussed in the following issues: 1. [SUREFIRE-2041](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SUREFIRE-2041) 2. [SUREFIRE-1405](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SUREFIRE-1405) 3. [SUREFIRE-530](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SUREFIRE-530) I found another PR (https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/pull/560) that addresses all the suggestions made by Tibor17 in https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/pull/348#issuecomment-1022724116. However, that PR has no comments or reviews, and the feature has still not been merged.
