The issue isn't legality. It's citation style. English majors and scientific
publishers care a great deal about this. Software developers? Not so much. I
don't think we've ever bothered to specify a style guide, be it AP, MLA, or
Chicago. That said, I would still add something like "Devoxx Belgium 2024"
