Coming in here to report that I saw the same issue with rc5 on my Mac running Tahoe 26.2 and can reproduce it every time. I too would consider this a blocker from release, since macOS suggest moving the library to the trash in the pop up dialog. Many users will probably click the blue option instead of the gray option and then maven developers will have to field questions about what this means and why/how the maven install is degraded. Maybe this isn't an issue if maven is installed via brew and we can hope that nobody uses the download page? I suspect that figuring out what jline is actually used for would not be too hard since I found `lib/maven-jline-4.0.0-rc-5.jar` in my installation and that would suggest the usage is fairly contained. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
