Real module-info descriptors (bnd-generated) were delivered for the three dependency-free modules — api, spi and util — in 2.0.0 (PR #516, 8266e6c3; the earlier attempt #508 was closed in its favour), matching the scope agreed in this discussion. The remaining modules still build as automatic modules; further JPMS work can be tracked in a new issue if wanted.
