Closing as Won't Fix. The `wagon-ssh-external` provider is deprecated/legacy and Wagon is in maintenance mode while Maven 4+ transitions to native Resolver transports. Adding an SFTP-only execution mode to `ssh-external` is out of scope; please continue using the standalone extension (such as `maven-wagon-ssh-sftp`) if you require this setup. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
