Closing in favour of the upgrade notes now at the top of the [maven-parent-50 release](https://github.com/apache/maven-parent/releases/tag/maven-parent-50), which is where people upgrading look first. Two points here did not hold up in the migrations: rat configuration belongs in `<pluginManagement>` rather than a `java17+` profile, and module-relative excludes declared in the module's own POM still match in maven-indexer, so they are not root-anchored. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
