`BooleanQuery.and(left, rights...)` builds a left-deep chain, and the backends' query translation and `toString()` walk it recursively, so a query of tens of thousands of terms ended in `StackOverflowError`. `BooleanQuery` now rejects a tree deeper than `MAX_DEPTH` (1024, the default Lucene boolean clause limit) with an `IllegalArgumentException` when it is built. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
