Adds `how-it-works.md` to the root site and its menu: the modules, the components, indexing contexts and index creators, filling an index by download or scan, searching, publishing, and reading an index with `indexer-reader`. It links the two example modules. `BasicUsageExample` now closes its `IteratorSearchResponse`, as the page says to. Verified: `mvn -N site` → the page renders with its 3 tables and code block, and the menu link appears on the other pages. Fixes #622 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
