Closing as won't fix — the premise doesn't hold up. Leftover directories belong to dead builds. Whether session A or concurrent session B deletes them during their respective leftover scans makes no difference: the result is the same. No live build is using those directories, so there is no real race condition with observable consequences. The broader problem of two concurrent Maven sessions corrupting each other's `target/` output via `CleanMojo` is a different (and genuinely hard) issue that would require Maven-level session locking — not something the clean plugin can address. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
