The symlink handling bugs mentioned in this issue have been fixed in `maven-filtering`: - The `NOFOLLOW_LINKS` regression (symlink copied verbatim instead of the target file) was reverted; the current code uses `Files.copy` with `REPLACE_EXISTING` which follows source symlinks correctly. - A secondary bug (existing symlink at the destination causing `FileAlreadyExistsException` or `NoSuchFileException` on incremental builds) was fixed in apache/maven-filtering#401 (MSHARED-1004): `FilteringUtils.copyFile` now detects a symlink at the destination and deletes it before opening for write, ensuring the output is always a regular file. Both fixes are included in the next `maven-filtering` release and will be picked up by `maven-resources-plugin` once the SNAPSHOT dependency is switched to a release.
