Maven 4.0.0-rc-7 binds maven-surefire-plugin 3.6.0 by default, which rejects
the IT's JUnit 3.8.1 ("The used JUnit Version 3.8.1 is not supported anymore"),
so MJAVADOC-444 fails on every rc-7 job, including on #1400. It is the only IT
on JUnit 3; its test still extends \`TestCase\`, which 4.13.2 keeps.
Verified: \`mvn -P run-its verify -Dinvoker.test=MJAVADOC-444\` → SUCCESS on
4.0.0-rc-7 (surefire 3.6.0, failed before) and 3.10.0-rc-1 (surefire 3.5.6).
