Hi @Wolf2323, I'd like to work on this issue as my next contribution to Maven Javadoc Plugin. I'll first reproduce the fixed-SNAPSHOT behavior with a minimal Maven project, then trace how the plugin resolves the dependency version and identify the appropriate place for the fix.
