Reverts the `path` default from #12893 for 4.0.0. With resolver 2.0.23 the path resolver runs out of memory on densely connected reactors (#13324); resolver 2.0.24 fixes that, but apache/maven-resolver#2175 still changes the same traversal, so `path` stays opt-in (`aether.conflictResolver.impl = path`) until a resolver release carries both. Verified: 400 modules × 9 reactor dependencies, `-T1C compile`, `-Xmx512m` → rc-7 OOM in `PathConflictResolver`; rc-7 with `classic` passes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
