The integration test has failed on every Maven since rc-4, and CI with it. Two causes: - The extension was compiled against the 4.0.0-rc-1 API, where `Source.fromPath` lived; later RCs moved it to `Sources.fromPath`, so `locate` threw `NoSuchMethodError`. The API is now at rc-7, and `maven-api-meta` became `maven-api-annotations`. - `extension.xml` exported `META-INF.maven`, which exposes core's `org.apache.maven.api.di.Inject` index to every plugin realm. Each plugin then failed to load with `ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.maven.cling.extensions.BootstrapCoreExtensionManager`. Core finds `HoconModelParser` in the extension realm itself, so the export is not needed. CI now uses the shared workflow's Maven 4 default (`maven4-build: true`) instead of pinning beta-5 and rc-4. Verified: `mvn -Prun-its verify` with Maven 4.0.0-rc-7 on JDK 17 and 21 → hocon-example passes, its child module builds from `pom.hocon`; spotless and RAT pass. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
