Maven 3.10.0 renames its slf4j provider package from org.slf4j.impl to
org.slf4j.simple and moves to SLF4J 2.0.19. mvnd-logging therefore failed to
compile ("cannot find symbol: SimpleLoggerConfiguration") because it unpacks
org/slf4j/impl/*.java from the maven-slf4j-provider sources.
- logging: unpack org/slf4j/simple/*.java, move the mvnd provider classes to
org.slf4j.simple, drop the SLF4J 1.7 StaticLoggerBinder/StaticMDCBinder and
register MvndServiceProvider through META-INF/services; update the
slf4j-configuration.properties mapping to the new factory class name
- logging: use org.apache.maven.jline.MessageUtils and
org.apache.maven.message.MessageBuilder, because Maven 3.10.0 no longer ships
maven-shared-utils, whose MessageUtils needs jansi 2.x
- daemon: adapt to the Maven 3.10.0 CliRequest, topDirectory and
rootDirectory now live in MavenExecutionRequest and the root is found through
RootLocator
- daemon: adapt to maven-resolver 2.0.24, whose named lock adapter factory
now takes a NamedLockFactorySelector
- client: drop the GraalVM StaticMDCBinder substitution, the substituted
slf4j 1.7 method no longer exists; MDC comes from the service provider
- bump maven.version 3.9.16 -> 3.10.0, maven-resolver 1.9.27 -> 2.0.24,
slf4j 1.7.36 -> 2.0.19 and the wrapper distribution accordingly
- exclude the shade generated dependency-reduced-pom.xml from RAT
Verified with ./mvnw clean package -DskipTests, 14 JVM integration test
classes (20 tests) and SingleModuleNativeIT against a GraalVM 25 native client
build, plus manual builds of a sample project with both the JVM and the native
client.
