I looked into this on current master. The Maven 4 DependencyResolver currently emits no dependency-resolution events, but I don't see a clean existing mapping to the legacy DependencyResolutionRequest / DependencyResolutionResult. EventSpyDispatcher lives in maven-core, while DefaultDependencyResolver is in maven-impl, so dispatching directly from the service would also introduce the wrong dependency direction. The options I see are either a maven-core decorator emitting the Maven 4 request/result types, a conversion to the legacy events, or a new listener/session hook.
