Setting excludes makes plexus-io merge its default excludes (`.svn`, `CVS`, `.git` and so on) into the file selector, with no way to turn that off. The new `useDefaultExcludes` parameter (default true, so behaviour is unchanged) is passed to the selector before the excludes are set, because the patterns are computed in `setExcludes`. Configurations with only includes never applied the defaults and are unaffected. Fixes #947. The IT fixture is a small binary jar in the IT's own file repository: the mock repository manager packs directory jars with the same default excludes, so a `.svn` entry could not be served from there. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
