### New feature, improvement proposal Currently lots of CI related files are excluded by default: https://github.com/apache/maven-apache-resources/blob/943623ea8d80b5199f8c419e2ce1f255dc767eb9/source-release/src/main/resources/assemblies/source-shared.xml#L58-L63 I would argue that those are valuable to leave inside source release archives.
