## Summary Port a missing test assertion from the backport PR [#13544](https://github.com/apache/maven/pull/13544) to master. ## Root Cause When the `testResolvedDependencyParentCacheDoesNotShareActivationWithProjectParent` test was updated on master, the `profile.pom.condition` assertion was inadvertently dropped (it was replaced with `assertNull` in an earlier revision, then the `assertNull` was removed without restoring the correct `assertEquals`). ## Fix Restore the `assertEquals("activated", projectParentModel.getProperties().get("profile.pom.condition"))` assertion with an updated comment explaining the expected behaviour: `doReadAsParentModel()` passes `parent.getProperties()` into the activation context, so `getModelProperty()` returns the real POM property and the condition fires for the non-sandboxed project parent path. ## Tests The restored assertion is itself the test — it verifies that POM-property-based profile conditions are correctly activated when reading a model as a project parent. _Hermes Agent (Claude Sonnet 4.6) on behalf of Guillaume Nodet_ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
