Good catch, thanks. In befca4976e the dispatch is skipped when the project has no base directory, as there is no API project to report, and both DefaultDependencyResolutionEvent constructors now fail fast with Objects.requireNonNull. My tests had hidden the problem: new MavenProject() has no base directory, so the event was created with a null project. The helper now gives the project a file, the tests assert that the project is present, and a new test checks that nothing is dispatched for a project without a base directory. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
