Supplements are keyed by `groupId:artifactId` ([`generateSupplementMapKey`](https://github.com/apache/maven-remote-resources-plugin/blob/master/src/main/java/org/apache/maven/plugin/resources/remote/AbstractProcessRemoteResourcesMojo.java#L1042)), so one supplement applies to every version of an artifact. When a project relicenses, a supplement that corrects the old license keeps applying to the new versions, and the generated LICENSE names a license the bundled version no longer has. A supplement could take an optional `<version>` that is a version or a version range, for example `[1.0,2.0)`.
