Jars listed in `supplementalModelArtifacts` are added to the resource locator in `configureLocator`, and plexus-resources' `JarResourceLoader` opens each one through `JarURLConnection.getJarFile()` with the default `jar:` cache and never closes it. Like the bundle jars before #339 (#338), they stay open for the life of the JVM: locked on Windows, which with mvnd means for the daemon's lifetime, and read stale after the jar is rewritten at the same path. Reading the supplemental models from the resolved jar directly, with an uncached connection or a `JarFile` closed after use, instead of through the locator would avoid it. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
