Closing in favour of a fix in JLine itself. The root cause is in `DumbTerminalProvider.sysTerminal()`, which wraps the file descriptor in an unbuffered `NonCloseableOutputStream` — unlike `PosixSysTerminal`, which uses `FastBufferedOutputStream`. This affects both JLine 3.x (used by Maven 3.10.x) and JLine 4.x (used by Maven master/4.0.x). The fix belongs in JLine so that all consumers benefit without needing their own workarounds.
